Our service areas are carefully calculated based on maximizing our routing and area population. In the rare event we do provide services outside of our normal service area, the rates are typically double or more of that of our normal rates. Our minimum out of area trip charge (does not include repairs) is $230 (regardless of warranty) or more depending on your area. If you are still interested in booking out of area service please email us: iowaappliancerepair@outlook.com.

Can I get a quote before booking the appointment? At this time we do not offer any quotes without first looking at the unit, which would require an appointment at our regular rates. There are a range of problems that can result in similar symptoms, some repairs are more affordable than others, and it is extremely difficult to give an estimate, or even a range, without a proper diagnosis of the unit. Additionally, we have found that most people who try to self diagnose get it wrong and we often find other servicers have misdiagnosed as well. All of our technicians have been through a rigorous training program, have received MST certification, and obtained necessary licensing from the EPA. Some jobs, including appliance repair, should be left to the experts.

What if my appliance is still under warranty? If your unit is still under warranty, and you are seeking free to you warranty service, we recommend you call the warranty company directly to get the warranty process started and to determine what is actually covered. Unfortunately, we do not work with most home warranty or 3rd party protection plan companies, with exception to the ones listed below. The warranty companies are typically difficult to work with. They often try to negotiate rates, our rates are based on the national Appliance Blue Book and are non-negotiable. Additionally, they typically require additional paperwork, documentation, and verbal confirmation that we do not provide. Most appliance repair companies refuse to work with these warranty companies as they are extremely hard to work with. If you are working with one of these companies and choose to hire us, please be advised our relationship is with you exclusively, and you pay us directly for the services rendered. We do not work with your warranty company. Your relationship with your warranty company is between you and them. We cannot guarantee coverage, cannot communicate with them, provide them documentation, or collect payment from them. With the above being said, we do have an established relationship with the following companies: LG, Speed Queen, GE, Midea, and All-state / Square Trade. Even though we have a relationship with these mentioned companies, typically you must reach out to them directly to start the warranty process if you are looking for free to you warranty service.
