ABOUT IOWA APPLIANCE REPAIR
Iowa Appliance Repair is a locally owned, owner-operated business providing in-home appliance repair throughout Ankeny and the Des Moines metro area. Professional service has been provided since April 2022, following completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
Training and certifications include Master Samurai Tech, Fred’s Appliance Academy, Dyer Appliance Repair Academy, and EPA certification. Iowa Appliance Repair is fully insured and properly registered with the State of Iowa.
We specialize in diagnosing and repairing major household appliances — including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, and microwaves — using professional diagnostic methods and OEM parts whenever available.

HOW REPAIRS WORK:
1. BOOK YOUR IN HOME
APPOINTMENT
Click the "Schedule Online" button to book your in-home consultation. During the booking process, we will collect a one-time diagnostic charge. Don't worry, if you choose to repair your unit, this fee is applied against the total cost of the repair.
2. DISCUSS REPAIR
OPTIONS & PRICING
Once the technician is in your home, we will diagnose your machine, discuss repair options, and review pricing. All of our repairs are customized to your individual needs and based on flat-rate pricing. The diagnostic charge is applied toward the total cost of the repair.
3. REPAIR
COMPLETED
After a repair is agreed on, our technician will complete the repair. Often, the repair can be completed during our first visit (from time to time follow-up visits may be required). Once a repair is completed, we will collect any additional balance due.
